First Week of Classes!

Well the first week of seminary classes are done.

Summary of learning that happened (this list is in no way comprehensive):
1. learned the Greek alphabet (and that you can make it through 6:30 in the morning classes... at least the first two)
2. Read and wrote a report on a great book called Biblical Church Growth by Gary McIntosh.
3. Realized I need 3 inch binders in my seminary classes.
4. Was challenged to think about my personal spiritual growth during my time here at seminary.
5. President Jeffery spoke at chapel on Thursday. Very challenging message on Lamentations. For your own reading check out the book. As your reading note the amazing change in chapter 3:21-27
21 Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope:
22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him."
25 The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;
26 it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.
27 It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young.

On the job front:
I also was offered a job at BestBuy. (CHECK POST ON SEPTEMBER 10)
Pray for us as we look at our finances and see how everything will work out. I know God is going to provide for us.

We would greatly appreciate your prayers!!

By the way, Josiah is doing much better in regards to his health. Pray that he would improve in regards to his sleep.
