Over the next six weeks, Wednesdays and weekends will be days everyone should try to share something from the section read. If a longer response share on this docs page. If a shorter response, share through text. To get things started I want to share an observation with a question. "In him" or "in love" appears several times. What do we have in him? Other observations can be shared also. D.R. That is his promise to us but we on the other hand need to spend some time getting to know this “new husband.“ And develop a closer relationship with him. That is when He dries the tears and we feel His presence. Wish you folks could come down and visit me. I’d share with you how God brought us through three different times similar to yours, just not quite as long. Later we saw evidence of his blessing each step of the way. That gave us the testimony we had for years afterwards.KathyBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11624478818249183905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27592965.post-44287644808321411882020-01-31T23:09:46.048-05:002020-01-31T23:09:46.048-05:00So happy to be able to stay updated through this b...So happy to be able to stay updated through this blog! At the time we were devastated but when he would be in tears I could be strong and when I was in tears God gave him strength to encourage me. In both cases It took time but God gave us much better positions of ministry. He eventually took us back to public school jobs which we didn’t understand until we reached retirement and realized we had needed those finances and that was the way God has provided. Meanwhile I still have contact with unsaved students from that time. They are still reaching out and I am still having opportunity to share God’s love. I know my relationship with God is so much deeper because of those trials and mysteries. Faith is such an exercise but has such rewarding benefits as we walk each day one step closer to Him. If there were no other benefits, the way it instilled life responses in our children, it was worth it! Major prayers going your way today!KathyBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11624478818249183905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27592965.post-33380638350317961372019-02-06T16:21:10.975-05:002019-02-06T16:21:10.975-05:00Matt and I have been praying for you. As hard as it may be to do, embrace it. Even when we look at this moments as "transitional," God doesn't. This is all part of His perfect plan for you to strengthen and mold you more into His image. As you lead your family from that vantage point, they will see and need the rock to stabilize them as well. And, on the other side of it, you will be able to reflect back on this time as a glorious learning opportunity the Lord has graciously provided you with that you could not have learned any other way.
