We had a trip to the emergency room today.
Joel fell in the lounge and hit his head on one of our chairs, which was in the lounge because of kitchen and living room are being remodeled.
He cut his head pretty bad so he had to get 6 stritches on the outside and we are not sure how many on the inside.
He is actually doing well now but it was very scary. Prayer for his recovery and his visit in a week to get the stitches out.
Throughout our lives we have been so blessed with friendships and ministry opportunities. This blog is meant to share what God has been doing in, for and through us. It is also used as a resource page for teaching and preaching Dave has had the opportunity to do. We do this for the purpose of GLORIFYING GOD and HELPING OTHERS GLORIFY GOD.

Drive to Pittsburgh
Last night during my drive to Pittsburgh I heard a Caedmon's Call song that reminded me of a great truth. I cannot remember the name of the song but I remember the basic idea of the line that struck me.
"God's grace and compassion are my story." This New Year I pray I would be able to live out this truth.
These three verses really reminded me of this truth:
1 Corinthians 1:31 "Therefore, as it is written: 'Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.'"
2 Corinthians 10:17 "But, 'Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.'"
2 Corinthians 11:30 "If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness."
