Habakkuk 3:17-18
Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herds in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation
What a challenging verse!! I will take joy IN God not IN my circumstances. My joy comes from my God not just in what he does for me but in who He is. I pray I would never forget that reality.
This past year has been very challenging. The challenge of this verse has been obvious throughout the last twelve months.
I pray I would be able to pray and live out these verses daily in my life.
