In the conference trailer, Mark Dever quotes J.C. Ryle's call to holiness.
“Holiness is the habit of being of one mind with God,
according as we find His mind described in Scripture.
It is the habit of agreeing in God's judgment,
hating what He hates,
loving what He loves,
and
measuring everything in this world by the standard of His Word.”
After seeing the trailer video and reading some of Ryle's quotes on holiness,
I decided to begin reading Holiness: Its Nature, Hindrances, Difficulties, and Roots.
Then I thought, many of my friends have gone and are planning to go to T4G.
Why not invite them to read this book with me.
I have a reading schedule that will take us up to the week of T4G.
I am still thinking through the best way to share reflections and prayer requests
from our reading.
So if you are planning to go to T4G or not,
would you prayer consider joining me, and hopefully others,
in reading this challenging book.
If you are planning to,
would you please leave your name in the comment section below.
